Cycling

The large network of single track lanes which surround La Grange are a pleasure to cycle.

The villa is the perfect place from which to explore the delights of the region on bike.

Road cyclists will enjoy the extensive country lanes that meander through the beautiful countryside of vines, sunflowers, meadow, woods and streams, with watering holes dotted amongst the little medieval towns and villages. With so little traffic, you’ll have the place to yourself. Or for a flat run completely devoid of cars, consider tackling the long legs of the very beautiful Canal du Midi, or the converted railway track that runs between Sarlat and Cazoulès

Our gently rolling countryside, packed with nature and interest, are an off-roader’s dream – and we are lucky to be criss-crossed with an extensive network of dedicated off-road routes, farm tracks & bridleways, and little country lanes.

There are no hedges therefore visibility is good and there is very little traffic.

Enjoy exploring the lanes to really view rural Dordogne life.

Guests can choose from a range of bike helmets in 3 sizes as well as bike locks and water bottles.

All the bikes are regularly serviced. If you discover an issue with a bike during your visit then please inform me and I will ensure it is rectified.

It is strongly advised to take water bottles with you as cafes are sparse. It is also advisable to take food in the "rucksack picnic bags" if you are intending to take a long ride. Picnic rugs are provided also.

Bike locks code 2271

Please do not change the code or we will need to charge for the cost of a new lock
